While running her brand Fringe Envy, she worked with many A listers, studio execs, actresses as well as women from all walks of life. She was featured in Rue LaLa, Best of Groupon 2012 and 2013 and featured in several pod casts and news articles.
In 2018 she decided it was time to start using her hard earned nursing license, and she began working for plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, Michael Obeng. She craved more acute nursing experience and working on a special unit with patients detailing with respiratory failure, post stroke and cancer diagnosis. She has worked as a pre and post op nurse, has clinical specialties in orthopedics, dermatology and geriatrics.
Her license has always been in good standing with the California board or nursing. She has been certified in infection control, wound care, IV has vent care.
In spring of 2020 Nurse Connie worked with a specialized COVID task force contracted by LA County to assist with the shelter in place mandate for the homeless population and implement COVID protocols for individuals in hot spot or break out areas. She worked worked as charge nurse in COVID units and has first hand experience with this patient population. Nurse Connie is skilled at treating COVID patients and creating and managing protocols necessary in order to maintain safe environments to stop the chain of infection before it happens.
Nurse Connie has experience with COVID screening and testing since February 2020.
She met an exec producer who was desperate seeking someone to assist with the SAG requirements for COVID testing. And, well, the rest, as they say, is history.
